Life skills classes at St. Benedict’s help end barriers to independence.

Information discussed in our classes helps residents become knowledgeable and better able to succeed once they become leave the shelter.

Classes include basic hygiene, nutrition, financial empowerment and literacy, resume building, addiction recovery, behavioral health, and career development.

The shelter’s unemployed residents are required to attend. Mandatory classes meet one to two times a week.
